Sunsets at Barr Lake State Park in Adams County, Colorado are always spectacular. I remember being excited while shooting this frame, which was nearly three years ago. I knew the out of focus cottonwood trees in the background were going to make for a fantastic graphic element. They did not fail to disappoint.

Who doesn't love a vintage truck sitting in front of a bed and breakfast in the mountains of Colorado, exposed to the elements, rusting away. This thing was awesome to look at, and the owners were gracious enough to let me climb all over it to make some photographs.
This was often the view from the back deck of my house in Denver. Every time it rained, the retention pond would fill up, the ducks would fly in, and there would be an absolutely brilliant sunset. I miss this view.
