When I went to the MLB All-Star Game (and festivities) in 2016, it was Heaven for a baseball fan.  Three days of nothing but my most beloved sport.  The game was in held in San Diego's Petco Park.  On the concourse, they have highly reflective aluminum tables to eat at.  When I saw one of the staff holding some new baseballs to throw into the crowd, I asked her if I could first photograph one of them on the table.  She didn't understand why I wanted to do this, but she gave me one anyway.  I got four frames before she asked for it back.  Mission accomplished.

Here's wishing tonight's World Series Game 6 was being played in our house, with my beloved Rockies needing just one more win to bring home the trophy.  Next year is our year!  May Coors Field stand forever...

I had the privilege of attending the 2016 Major League Baseball All-Star game.  Three days straight of nothing but baseball.  It was heaven.  It also kicked off a multi-year project of personal work, where I intend to make portraits of fans of all 30 MLB teams.  Unfortunately I thought of this idea on day three of the long weekend, otherwise I would have had more opportunities.  This woman is obviously a fan of the hometown San Diego Padres.  More to come on this subject later...
